Florida Behavioral Health Conferece

Let’s meeting in Orlando! The largest behavioral health conference in the Southeast, Florida Behavioral Health Conference, returns August 26-28, 2026.

This year’s theme for BHCon2026, Lights, Camera, Action!, celebrates the unsung heroes behind every success story in mental health and substance use care: the peer support specialists, clinicians, HR leaders, administrators, and frontline staff who are stars in their own right. Every role matters. Every contribution moves the story forward. Register, view the agenda and interact on the Attendee Hub at the BHCon site.

Professionals from across the country take center stage to share, learn, and lead in the ongoing story of recovery and resilience. Set against the backdrop of the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, BHCon2026 brings together the full cast and crew of the mental health and substance use field.

Attend our Presentation

Integrated Psychiatric Consultants CEO Dr. Vishal Adma will be presenting Care Where Trust Lives: Reverse Integration of Primary Care in Behavioral Health Treatment on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in Floridian Room L.

Community behavioral health settings increasingly serve as the primary – and often only – source of consistent care for individuals living with serious mental illness (SMI), substance use disorders, and co-occurring chronic medical conditions. Individuals with SMI experience higher rates of untreated chronic conditions due to fragmented systems and barriers to accessing primary care, particularly in rural communities. Reverse integration addresses this gap by embedding primary care within CCBHC/CCBHOs, connecting patients to on-site medical services through established relationships with behavioral health providers.

This presentation will demonstrate how reverse integration improves care coordination, supports complex patient needs, and reduces reliance on emergency services. Attendees will hear from a physician executive and an embedded community behavioral health provider who have implemented this approach. Early outcomes and operational considerations will also be discussed.
