About Us

About Us

Mission Statement

Our mission is to integrate our providers and partners to deliver high-quality care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to ensure all communities have access to providers dedicated to serving their psychiatric, mental health, and substance use treatment needs.

Our Story

Vishal Adma, M.D. founded Integrated Psychiatric Consultants in 2002 in the Kansas City metro. At that time, there were few psychiatric consultants like Dr. Adma providing expertise to providers and partners nationwide.

Many psychiatric providers and community mental health centers sought his partnership approach and expertise in managing the nuisances of a mental health business.

Once hospitals and clinics learned the benefits of a partnership model, our organization began serving health systems, rural organizations, and mental health networks nationwide.

Dr. Adma's vision keeps the firm ahead of trends and operational curve balls. Years before the pandemic led to a surge in private-equity telehealth companies, we had been offering providers telehealth opportunities. As a result, we can guarantee a continuity of care – no matter the state of telehealth regulations or the shifting preferences of providers.

Our psychiatric consultants and administrative team foster a culture of strength and resilience. Inspired by our mission and vision, we share an unwavering commitment to serving our providers and partners through quality, teamwork, access, and integrity.

We believe the foundation of a great organization is a committed team supporting each other through common goals, to achieve a valuable mission.

With decades of clinical psychiatric experience and unparalleled expertise that spans the spectrum of mental healthcare, we help you elevate the mental health of your community.

“The suffering that people go through when they have a mental health condition is equally as painful as a physical health condition, if not more so.
